Blue Jay was born on the Dillinger Ranch but has spent a lot of his life here on Cedar Hill. We haltered him as a weanling and started him under saddle as a two-year-old. He has done a great job here doing whatever we ask him to do. He has roped a few in the arena and in the pasture. He has a smooth, collected handle. He speaks for himself - and he will hold his color for a long time. He is easy to catch, shoe, bathe, clip and load. You can give him a recess, bring him in and saddle him up, and go on and do a job.
