Ms Josey has had one owner throughout her lifetime. Her sire and dam were used by our family in various performance/cow horse events. Josey is started in the tie down roping. She is an intense mare with a big motor, is quick footed, and can really stop. She is light mouthed/sided with a willing attitude. Rides well in & out of the arena. Has not been hauled, but has been exposed to a barrier. She is currently being ridden & roped off of- ready to start hauling. Stands well for farrier, clippers, & to be bathed. Good breakaway or tie down prospect, but is not recommended for beginners due to her lack of experience. Josey does have a scar on her front left foot. It has been there since she was a weanling- doesn't bother her. We recommend keeping boots on her when roping.
